The Coming Recession

Yes, we have all moved on to better things. Working at Tuesday Morning did one thing....taught me and many others that retail is for losers and morons, especially the morons who leave assinine comments just to make themselves feel 'big'. Ah, love the little people. I and others that once worked there are making twice the money without busting our ass picking up after loser customers and arrogant corporate types. Now, if you all want to do something constructive, march on Washington and tell them you are tired of corporations jacking up prices for everything just to have it all. The price of oil is not even connected to supply and demand any more. It's just a bunch of yahoos trying to get rich quick and doing it on your hard earned money. Boycott Exxon Mobil for starters. They are the real reason the price of gas is going through the roof. They have refused to increase refining capacity. Well, good luck to all in the coming recession, manmade as it is.

BOYCOTT

There are some real smart-mouthes in this world...just read some of the comments on this site. They must insult and belittle others just to bring a smirk to their own faces. One more time....corporations got BIG, made lots of money, then figured out they could 'hijack' the political process (read 'steal' here)
Were these the rant of lazy people....NO. If they were lazy they wouldn't even bother to voice their opinion here. No, they are pissed off because some creep thinks he knows better than anyone else in the world how to run a company and does it at the expense of the lowest rung of employees. You can tell how they think about their employees by how the employees complaints are completely ignored or at best the situation is turned around to make it look like it was the employees fault for all the injuries and bad judgement that was made through the years.
The only reason this site was not more successful was because someone from corporate interfered and drew everyone away from the core problem...bad management. They kept getting me into inane arguments about my and my families integrity. Well, it didn't hurt me because I have nothing to lose. I was already gone from Tuesday Morning when I started this blog. I now have a job where an individual owns the business (he bought it to keep it out of some corporations hands...already he's my hero). If I have a problem I can go to him and have it resolved immediately...ah, mutual respect, 'ain't it grand'. If you work for a corporation, bail out now and see how long they last with no one to do their dirty work. Do you think those stuffed shirts would come out of their penthouses and do that work?...ah, no, they'd hire someone from a foreign country and next to nothing in cost and hope there was a brain in there to get the job done. BOYCOTT, BOYCOTT, BOYCOTT. A 'boycott' is the act of abstaining from using, buying, or dealing with someone or some other organization as an expression of protest or as a means of coercion (this definition courtesy of Wikipedia).

Not About Disgruntled Employees

This site is not about disgruntled employees, it is about a corporation having policies and practices in place that cause lasting injuries to their store staff, then they (corporation) turn their backs and say it's the employees fault for getting hurt. Bad ethics and a total disregard for human beings...not so hard to understand, is it? No one really cares whos in charge, who said what to whom, it is about thousands of men and women who performed heavy labor, were injured on the job, then put out to pasture without even a thank you. These poor people are not able to work any longer because their injuries are being ignored by the very company that caused them. That old PT Barnum addedge, "A sucker is born every minute"needs to be disgarded and some true compassion brought into play. If corporations weren't focused solely on investor return this world would be better. Unfortunately man's inherent evil nature precludes any hope of civility anywhere on planet earth at this time.

Damage Control

I am reposting this comment to show that someone who is connected to corporations is monitoring this blog and I thought it was a good idea to try and get the response this comment is asking for. So please post your experiences with this company whether negative or positive. The only way to affect change is to show what is wrong. And even though the archives for this blog are loaded with comments from 'disgruntled' employees, the gestapo like tactics of supervisors of this company will probably stop anyone from posting here out of fear. They (the disgruntled employees and customers) were posting on 'EgoInc, happy tuesday morning' until 'Official Tuesday Morning' whined about the posts and now they are edited...nothing like good damage control, eh?

This blog paints Tuesday Morning as the worst of the worst companies to work for and everyone knows this but are scared to say anything. If this is fact and everyone knows what a bad comapany Tuesday Morning, why do they apply for a job there in the first place? I cannot believe that this company would institute a policy to harass employees to the point of a Lawsuit. Maybe more than a couple of disgruntled employees need to make a statement. If there are any.

Not Bush's Fault...Greed Is The Culprit!

Mo is right...someone is monitoring this blog, but I'll bet they have more to do with Bush, neo-cons and retired intelligence people than some corporate hack getting revenge. The government is prying everywhere and the internet is just a thorn in their side. They will stop at nothing to stop you all from voicing your opinion about politics and government, so I'll do what they want...no more mention of 'Shrub Boy'.
I will mention to the store manager who is being harrassed...they don't want you to sue because you'll expose them, but they will go to great lengths to get you fired or quit. They play a mean game of harrassment...many years of practice, I would assume. I do think it's time for a lesson to corporations, so please inform the world (post here) about your particular harrassment situation with Tuesday Morning. Look, guys, Walmart has more money than they can count to handle legal defense and they are still losing the fight, and Tuesday Morning has way less money available to cover their butt, so stop being afraid of the paper tiger and let's get them...LET"S ROLL!!!

Sunday, November 19, 2006

Did ya miss me, Tuesday Morning, Inc. Seems so, because you are getting bolder at screwing with your employees. You don't return complaint calls made to your so-called 'hot line' and you tell the complainers to keep quiet. Now let me get this straight...the Democrats won both houses of Congress which means 'uh-oh' for big business. Hint to corporate (intentional 'lower case' c)...get rid of the 'conservative gestapos' and start becoming people friendly. The majority of citizens of America will resist corporate dominance of there private as well as work lives with all their strength. The people of America are waking up and will demand change loud and clear...you can take that to the bank.

So, without further procrastination , I announce a renewed effort to get as much information for a class action lawsuit against this corporations inability to address a possible illegal rendering of their human resource policies protecting workers rights. Any and all complaints are welcome to be posted here. No need for names, addresses or store numbers nor state you live in. Just the basic facts in your case. We need an idea of just how big a problem this is and how big the coverup is. Workman Comp problems, injuries on the job, decisions made affecting your career that you feel were discriminatory or derogatory in nature, especially anything of a sexual discrimination nature, and even your thoughts on how you see this company and how it is handled.

Note to store manager who claimed (on Ego, Inc blog) sexual harrassment. If you feel your claims are valid (I am not questioning the validity of your claims) you must call an attorney (most offer an initial free consultation) and check with your states Division of Civil Rights. Sexual harrassment in the workplace is illegal according to Federal Law and is a very serious crime. Get mad and put the fear of God into them. Please advise as to your progress or if you need assistance in this matter.

Message to all...please have a Happy Holidays. And be safe!

Corporations In America

Here's what is wrong in a nutshell...corporations in America were granted the same rights as individual citizens, yet when they do wrong they are punished as a corporation, so in effect there is really no physical human who is responsible, therefore the corporation is given a fine (not one that might break the bank and teach them an actual lesson), a slap on the wrist (judge telling lawyers not to let the corporation do that again), then sent on their merry money making way. If you or I were to do the same things we would spend years in jail. Unfortunately corporations were given those rights along with lots of money so that eventually they steered our political process to their advantage and to hell with the public. In their eyes we are the 'chattering masses'. Even Governor Arnold of California has shown just what the 'powers that be' think of you and I. He stated that 95 per cent of the worlds population are not smart enough to make their own decisions. This is what our leaders think of us. Be careful what you say, there Arnold...someone might just be listening...like me!
