Again With Idiocy.

the upcoming winter storm will have two phases. the first phase will feature very heavy snow this afternoon into this evening where most of the accumulating snow is expected to occur. the snow is expected to fall so heavily that near white-out conditions are likely with rates reaching one to two inches per hour. the second phase occurring overnight into sunday morning will feature lighter snow, but considerably stronger winds. this will cause blowing and drifting of what is expected to be a very light and fluffy snow. this may cause blizzard conditions at times.
This is copied from the National Weather Service for Saturday, Jan.22, 2005. Evidently Zone managers and District supervisors do not check there. My wife is thirty miles from our home waiting for these "nerds" to decide to close the stores. Again money is more important than people. I will state this publically...."If anything happens to my wife on her drive home I will sue not only the company, but the said officers by name." Why in Gods name do retail companies continually put peoples lives and vehicles at risk for an extra "fifty cents"? There has to be a limit to what these Bad companies can impose on innocent people. If you are someone of authority and feel stressed to make these kinds of decisions you are in the wrong career. Retail corporations do not know how to live with their communities as they state, but are just putting "spin" on things to say what you as average citizens want to hear. They are no better than the government in that nothing they say is the truth anymore. The government tells you one thing, but their real allegiance is to big business who make huge contributions to the political parties so that business gets the preferential treatment they seek. The same goes for corporations....those very same businesses are not responsible to their customers nor to their employees. They are responsible to their stockholders. If these businesses are so single minded to abuse average citizens, let those stockholders become the customers and employees. If I had my way I would tell every present employee and customer of any retail business to just walk away. It would immediately change all the attitudes in this country toward average citizens (thats you, silly) and turn this country back into what our forefathers had in mind, not this big business driven bullshit we have now...a country full of governmental and corporate liars. Kind of makes you wonder what they are teaching in college nowadays, because these "rubes" are all college graduates.

The End Is Near

I received an e-mail from someone who works in a southern state closer to Texas, who reports that they are experiencing the same cruel treatment as those in the northeastern states. The corporate has ordered all stores to be remodeled by store level employees, they are harassing them into carrying out this task in one weeks time. This remodel includes new shelving throughout the store, new layout of the merchandise bins, and rebuilding the checkout counters...all done by women who have been injured unloading truck after truck so that the warehouse is empty for inventory purposes. This is actual proof that the physical abuse of middleaged women has been ordered from the Corporate office and not by a Zone manager, knowing that the southern state in question is in another zone. Now OSHA will respond...now lawyers will jump on board because there is now proof that the corporate heriarchy is pursuing age and sex discrimination. They could have used the waste they have, with their bad distribution system, and used it to raise labor at the store level to maintain a higher level of employee retention (meaning high enough wages to attract male employees) to alleviate the stress and injury causing culture that is evident today at Tuesday Morning, Inc. . Am I missing something here or is the "store level" the place where they dispose of the merchandise they have "scoured" the world for. How can any company think they are going to be perpetually successful if they abuse their lower level employees who are someones mother, wife, or girlfriend. As Tuesday Morning will attest, the preliminary boycott is working. While most retail was on the upswing at the end of 2004, Tuesday Morning was showing decreases in sales across the board. Word gets out quick, doesn't it?
