They Still Don't Get It!!!

I am glad to say that today was my last day at Tuesday Morning I was a Store Manager since March 18th and had only 3 days off until now. And my Regional had to ask why I was leaving. All I can say is good luck to thew new Manager because the Assistant is quitting on Saturday and the 3rd key has already given his notice. And to make it even better the background check for the 4th key has not cleareed yet so he will be the only manager there. i got out in the nick of time.

Just thought I'd bring one of the Anonymous entries to the forefront just in case corporate doesn't know how to read comments. This is one of hundreds of responses I've gotten from store level employees. You people in Dallas have the nerve to say that your employee relations are good. Your company is falling apart around you and your launching the lifeboats empty. Get rid of the arrogance and become real people. Learn some people skills and get a clue...the old style corporate culture is not working. You can't force American citizens into bad situations without some kind of backlash, and in this case you are facing a 'tsunami' of people opposed to your treatment at your stores. You think you have the right to run your stores any way you see fit, and legally you are right, but morally you miss the mark by miles. If all you can hire for henchmen is former K-Mart or BigLot rejects you are going to be in for a surprise very soon. These former employees of companies that were run into the ground by these same losers will bring your 'stepchild' to ruin. Tuesday Morning WAS a good company but Mr. Marchetti and Ms. Mason have done their 'magic', as they've done to other companies.

Tuesday Morning did not need an efficiency expert. They sure do need one now! If TM would only have listened to it's experienced managers, and one of the best regionals they ever had they would not be in the mess they are in today. Denise Manzi came up from the ranks. She was a store manager and became a regional. You can't be a regional without being a store manager! That's what made her good. She already experienced the problems at store level and knew the solutions. She was realistic. Whatever payroll we had, we used it wisely. Nothing matters now she was fired. Excellent managers are gone. This was the game plan of Larry and John to hammer people. My deepest sympathy to the fine managers hanging on. In the end, you will hammered too. The stores will continue to go down hill. Corporate has destroyed all the team work that it took to keep them up and running.

Right on there! We all know that TM only recruits "Bullys" for management and regionals...
Anytime a manager is well liked TM finds a way to get rid of it!
But AH! the ruthless one are usually kept! Why? because when a company is run by "pshycos" that's the only way they feel good about themselves!
I told you in one of my messages this co. is shrude and it will get worse for the employees before they admit any wrong doing!
We all know this saying "Misery loves company"!
Bottom line to all of you who still think that TM cares,
THEY DO NOT CARE,
THEY DON'T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT YOU OR YOUR PROBLEMS,
their mono is "BS" walks and "MONEY" talks!

Tuesday Morning is losing another good manager but this one decided to step down before they fired her. She was my mentor, everything I learn came from her. Few years passed since they broke us apart too, we had a great team. I feel sorry for the ones that are really good because they are next on line.Get out.

Yes, another Manager in our area, gave their notice this week too.
Many more at to come, I too am jumping on that boat next. We are all getting out QUICKLY because all "hell" is about to break loose and we know it. We are not riding this broken down horse any longer. And why should we? This latest Manager, that is leaving found a higher paying job with more perks, less pressure, and LESS HOURS piled on them in their work week. They only have to work 40 hours. Can you imagine that??
No more unloading trucks. DREAM of that people. Payroll galore. YES, there are some places that actually do have payroll and nice clean stores, that provide "real" customer service. These are Corporations that are up to the level . That are not antiquated they are not light years behind in the computers and their paperwork, and their signages, and they ways of doing things, including, handling of employees. They do care about their employees. Why then are we so afraid to leave in the begining? I don't think it's fear as much as the FACT, that we are committed. Some of us have been trained to be dedicated andto finsh the job....but once you realize that things aren't getting "Better" things are only getting worse.....you have to leave before the tsunami, hits because it WILL (and is already in a lot of cases) drown us all. In many stores Management is on it's way out, we have all been made aware of that fact and we all have our individual plans where I am at. This is serious folks. Dallas, has proven over and over again that they do not give a rip, we are all "replaceable." Many of us stayed hoping things would change, maybe if we held on thinking things would get over this bad "hump" then they would get better, yet, in fact...things are at the worst levels that many of us have even seen in our many years of Tuesday Morning work experiece. At some point hopefully they will see what they are loosing one day, these have been long time employees that have been with this company for years and years and dedicated. Not theives, not money hungry mongers, obviously, or they wouldn't have stayed so long. So many of them make nothing even after being with this company of lots of years...IS that what Tuesday Morning stockholders want? Does anyone see what is happening, because this has now become rampant at this point. The Manager's and the employees, who have been in this company for years are exiting because as one told me "this company is out of control" and I have to totally agree with them. No one can give us answers to any of our questions. Every Regional and Zone acts stupid. They either don't know what in the world is going on, or else they are covering their own backsides. Either way.....this is sick.
Ciao, Tuesday Morning.
It's your loss. Right now, those of us that are leaving have everything to gain. There IS life AFTER Tuesday Morning.

For those of you finding GOOD jobs, congradulations!!!I left over two years ago...Decided to return to a industry from "My life before TM". It was a great position--the company representives had never seen a Tuesday Morning. They visited two stores and were horrified by the condition, dirty floors, poor product. I was told I was out of the running because of the POOR PRESENTATION of these stores. Will my job with TM punish me for ever????
