Do Like WalMart Does, TM

This is from MSNBC news article dated May 19, 2005. "Wal-Mart's sales growth has sagged, in part because the Bentonville, Ark.-based retailer, while still a low-price leader, doesn't have products on the floor that attract today's shoppers — particularly in apparel, home furnishings and consumer electronics. It also has a problem with slow checkout service and its stores look uninspiring."
Ok, Corporate Tuesday Morning...keep doing like WalMart...you'll be just as successful...muahahahahaha!!!

Tuesday Morning pays it's "First Dividends"....right.
This is just a joke.......who do they think they are fooling? We all know they are "Brown nosing" their stockholders, to KEEP them as stockholders. It's the tiny bit to "bait them" and let them think, "everythings great in Dallas" well it ain't, we employees own stock too. IF we all were to sell it, Dallas, would collaspe. Just a thought.

They are FREAKING out in Dallas! Why would they be sending all those new pink posters, and pink printed handouts, they've sent us for this upcoming sale in June. They changed the day of the sale from a Tuesday, to a Saturday now, hoping that sales will increase. Why all these "sales" tactics going on. We were always told that "we didn't need to sell the merchandise, because the merchandise sold itself".......guess that isn't working any longer. Are they afraid this new Saturday sale isn't going to work, or is it something else? The money spent on the printing of all these things and the FED EXing of it to all the stores, could have raised all of our sunken payrolls for the week. Something stinks in Dallas. You can just feel that something is up.

Tuesday Mornings, computer systems are so outdated. We have to generate so many reports, just for payroll. When other stores have their employees log in and out on computers, this company still uses the time cards, which is fine, except then you still have to deal with payroll reports, and figure time cards, and mail them in, and not counting payroll reports DAILY to the Regionals, and an "End of the Week" report to the Regionals, reporting our payroll. This is "how" they manage us to not "go over" in the payroll realm. When it acutally takes steps and steps and steps to get through the process. Time=dollars, no matter how you cut it, and for whatever the reason T.M. is horrible about making us repeat process's over and over. Wasting our payroll, for the silliest of matters. Reprice, this thing, take that thing off the shelf, build these rolling racks, no don't build that rack, take down all your extra shelves in the stockrooms, so that we can't over stock anything anymore....we weren't born yesterday, we know what that's about. Walmart, is still LIGHT years ahead compared to T.M.in being up to the year 2005 in it's standards and it's reports. This company is very behind and can't seem to get pulled up to date. They can't even get their store remodeled. It's very embarrassing to us workers at times.
