Get A Life, Please

A little info to the people who are chomping at the bit to say useless bullshit here to try and rattle me...I really don't give a crap what is said. I will forever be the thorn in Tuesday Mornings side. It is free to start a blog on blogspot, hence it was easy to do, and it was done to bring these people together to lend a voice for them, not so that you could feel good about yourself saying such profound bullshit. Whatever was said on any of my blogs has been not only my opinion but the opinion of MANY that worked for or still work for Tuesday Morning. And anything I said here but retracted was done so because even I crossed the line with useless rhetoric and I had a change of heart in what was said. And I could care less who owns Tuesday Morning, they still allow this crap to happen because they do have a part ownership and are just as responsible as each and every investor who has a stake in it. Or is this another company operating without accountability who gets away with whatever they want because "we need jobs in America". Or maybe the blog police have caught up with me and they don't like the posting of things not approved by you. Whatever it is, please get a life and troll someone else's blog.
"Maybe you don't want any advice & would prefer that I just leave you to rant. Let me know & I will accommodate you. If you do want to help I would start by asking the people on your TM blog what exactly they would like to accomplish. You might be surprised at some of the answers.

NOT MM"
No, not MM, but probably Sheri, or someone who has the official answers. By the way, did anyone in corporate see if all stores even needed those nexiflexes? I was in the East Brunswick store and it was just a space waster. It was designed to go from the truck to the stock room, but the stockroom was below street level with a stairway and railing blocking it's use. Put a wooden shelf on it, it became a great bench to open boxes on, but did not help on truck day. Well thought out plan, I'm sure. And don't give me that crap that it avoided more WC claims...did Tuesday Morning start packing their cartons lighter? That would be the only way to avoid those claims. You guys ship some really heavy merchandise to your stores without regard to what happens at the store level. The philosophy is that if they took the job as store manager they can just damn well figure out how to get the job done at any cost, just like they do in the military, but you wouldn't know about that because you've never been in the military.

This is a blog and I'm not some official person who has to live by some special standards to gain accountability. This was formed to allow the weak to speak up and voice their opinion about the very company they were working for, a company that does not care about their own employees. The welfare of these people are not, nor will they ever be important to TM corporate. Why else would you be here pointing out all the wrongs of the blog and touting the good that's been done by corporate. You lose credibility every time you do that. I never professed to be a leader, I just gave these people a forum to tell their side of a "bad story", and to allow certain legal types to monitor and set the stage for , you guessed it, more lawsuits against Tuesday Morning, and while I'm at it, why has Tuesday Morning pulled Ralph Lauren polo shirts from the floor to get them ready to ship back...have they done the fake product trick again? I'll bet you even have a s.a. answer for that, too! And does any one really care whether Nancy is my girlfriend or my wife (not my wife, just my girlfriend of 25 years)...I think not, just some useless crap that you think is important. And if you keep up on the news such as my supreme court rhetoric that was copied and pasted from MSNBC, I think my rhetoric is hitting home as to the real problems in America and the world...businesses entrenched in the political process and spoiling the planet for profit.
And one more thing, I don't hide behind 'anonymous'...my name is on everything I post. Be brave and show your true self. Gain some credibility. You must know I'll never know who you are because the blog was set up that way, so be brave and let the world know who you are. I am not some hero, nor do I profess to know it all. Yes, some posts were out of emotion, other times based on fact. But the part about the things said by MM, that was all fact, attestable by three former regional managers. I've even received e-mail from people working in your own corporate office in Dallas who stated the working conditions there were not so good either. So, Anonymous, be proud of who you work for and the 'great' things you've accomplished. And keep up the good work of harrassing the little people, you do it so well!

I just went to one of these stores with my wife for the first time. What a mess. How does a retailer expect to get some of the prices they have marked on this product when it merchandised like a rummage sale??She loves the place but it quite simply made me a little uneasy that walking down the asiles in fear that they might collapse on me

Now here is the answer:
I wonder if TM is also monitoring this site since it is under Yahoo finances!

Which store did you go to? I've been to several stores and they always seemed pretty clean. They move a lot of inventory, though. So maybe you caught them on a bad day.

Everyone has noticed that these stores are nasty dirty and out of control, there isn't enough help, and their merchandise has now gotten way "overpriced" I heard this today even from someone who is just an acquaintance. This person asked me where I worked. I told them. She made those comments to me, I didn't ask for them.
I can't help it.I hear myself explaining this to people all the time. It's embarrassing. I can't change these things. We that work there already know these things but can't say anything to anyone. Especially the general public. Then this person in just a very basic converstation says how "high" their merchandise has become at T.M. so they can't shop there anymore. You see, these are the hard facts that nobody in Dallas, address. They want "Discount" and they have achieved "Discount" but at what price?? They ARE in fact losing their old customers. People are sick of these issues. There are a million other stores that are cheaper, cleaner, with more employees available to help you to shop at in America.
Store conditions get worse all the time. They cram way too much product into their stores. This is psycho, because it is not even shopable. People don't like the mess. We don't like the mess, we can't maintain the stuff because there is SO much of it. The customers complain all the time to us and we can do nothing about it, we tell the Regional, and nothing ever changes. Customers call Corporate to complain and Corporate doesn't fix the problems. I don't think they know how to fix it either.
Now ever since inventory has been over, we have been inundated with trucks bringing stuff into our already OVER stuffed stores, that can't take anymore items onto their shelves, the stores have been closed so it's not like any of the old product has left the store, there's not any more room now than there was on June 30th, when the doors closed.
Sad factis more and more and more stuff is on the way and there is no where to put it all. That is why these stores are so messy. There is NO inventory control. They have no clue what a store has in it. (only when it is inventoried)
The people in the warehouse are not told what we already have in our stores. They just fill boxes with things these stores already have plenty of and send them to the store again. This is a proven fact, because it happens over and over again at all the stores. Some of us travel and talk to other employees in other states. Plus it is highly visible to anyone the moment they walk in a Tuesday Morning store. You'd have to be blind and stupid not to see what's happening.

"Tell the Regionals" is that what that person said? Yeah, that works. Our Regional was in our store this week and didn't give a flip about how bad our store looked and we have to open this Monday? That was encouraging. This person said the store "looks good" ha! Right.......ummmm.....we would love to see it on a "good day" because it's looked like a mess for so long we would just die on the spot and think we'd gone to Dillards, to work.

This is a very interesting BLOGSITE. Someone informed me of it. I have to think on all I've read now. It's confirming my worst fears and suspesions about this company I work for. I knew there was something "not quite right" about Tuesday Morning. It seems like the bosses LIE a lot to us. Why? I have wondered over and over. Now I see why and that they lie to all the other stores and employees too. This isn't right.

For the new comer to our blog spread the word.Get out before you get hurt! they will lie about what really happen so you will not get a chance. Be carefull how you explain your injury because they will twist things around. Request to be present when they call the adjusters and the regional and maybe another witness so no words can be changed. Make sure you read the accident form before you sign they may screw you there too.
