It Just Doesn't Matter!!

Due to the increasing costs for fuel and heating products I see a great number of discount houses going down the tubes, the first being the companies that continually go head to head with employees and customers. I remember working in the store and when a customer had a complaint it was referred to the Customer Service number at TM headquarters where the 'well trained' staff would BS the customer into thinking they were getting something such as a coupon for a discount. The problem was there was no such thing as a 'Tuesday Morning discount coupon'. Therefore, the customer got nothing and Tuesday Morning BS'd their way through to keep the sale. All that cost cutting and BS'ing got what?
I predict that the failing economy due to two hurricane strikes in the oil important Gulf Coast region is going to be the deciding factor for everyone. The price for oil and gasoline (how's $5. a gallon sound?) is eventually going to be out of reach for a vast majority of Americans, forcing the closings of one business after another. That long commute to work will be impossible to accomplish for a large percentage of Americans, making this daily chore a thing of the past. I also think the target price for crude is $100. a barrel. Until oil reaches that plateau we are going to see one catastrophe after another. For those of you that ask the question...Where is Ed getting his info?, try the news media. These are numbers that speculators are tossing around. Yup, the days of huge profits are coming to a close and big businesses days are numbered. The backlash from swaggering no-it-alls failed policies will be very evident in the coming months. There are a few billion people on this planet yet a few hundred people are calling the game plans for most of us...this is about to end with a crash. It will be fun in that unemployment line along with the very 'asses' who made all this possible. Could it be that the very way of life we are used to is coming to a halt by design...that there are way too many citizens on this planet and someone behind the scenes is trying to correct this...wars, famine and really high energy prices...people freezing to death this winter because GREEDY BASTARDS don't have enough of our money yet?
Attention...stop what you are doing and take a minute to really take in what is happening in the world. Everytime there is a blue sky over your heads do you have lines crisscrossing the sky to make it cloudy and said lines are made by airplanes? Normal jet exhaust dissipates a few thousand feet behind these jets, yet you all see contrails going from horizon to horizon. And the one's who question this are labeled 'lunatics, etc'. But these same people are the one's without their head in the sands.
Example...the premise for going into Iraq was the revelation that Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. Eventually it came out that this was a fabrication, that there never were any WMD's. But instead of a public outcry, everyone accepted the official line that the Iraqi's had the stuff hidden in the desert somewhere. Well they found Saddam in the desert, but no WMD's.
One more, then I'm through for today...anyone following the price of gold? It's damn near five hundred dollars an ounce...does anyone remember back in the eighties when gold was around the same price and there were lines of people at jewelers selling anything gold or silver? This was a ploy to get precious metals out of ordinary citizens hands and into the elites hands. Is your money backed by gold any longer...no, but gold's value is going up and the money's value is going down. And who is holding all this gold...you or I...not likely.
The government kept saying "Be calm, go about your daily lives". Would you think they wanted you to be looking the wrong way while they manipulated your lives? The truth is slowly coming out, yet all those rose colored glasses are blocking the big picture...that everything is not ok in 'Mudville'...that we are being taken for a ride by people who are hiding behind 'patriotism' to advance their own agendas. Even the staunch supporters of Bush in Congress are now questioning the direction of his administration.
Another thing...how the hell did two very strong hurricanes hit almost the same parts of the Gulf Coast, hitting the very refineries and ports that are vital to America's domestic oil supply? http://weatherwars.info/index.html . Please read this web site for a little wake me up...the author is a TV weatherman from Ohio who is quitting to devote full time to getting this message out. And I do remember the announcement by the Russians that they were developing these technologies. It was during the seventies. Then there's the statement from our own air force stating they now own the weather. This fact was in the news this year. There are things going on behind the scenes that people will swear is just BS and can't possibly be true. A little tidbit for you...research and development by the military advances fifty years worth of technology for every actual year that passes. But you wouldn't know this because a: you were never in the military or b: you don't have interests in what can affect the world so don't care. Now, count how many years since jets were invented and multiply that by fifty. So, instead of conspiracy theories we have people skirting the edges of things that would be beyond the imagination of the 'average' citizen and the 'powers that be' making stories to hide these facts. The US State Department even went as far as publishing a list of these sites with rense.com at the head of the list...and why did rense get on that list? Because a major theme there is the illegal and unethical behavior of the Bush administration. And I'll settle this once and for all...I think Bush and Company is playing a major league version of 'Wag The Dog'. Photo ops galore, news designed to make them look like they do no wrong. Did anyone notice that Bush took the blame for the Katrina debacle? It was the first time in five years that anyone in the Bush administration admitted a mistake. I think their 'Wag the Dog' is going badly and if he didn't admit mistakes this time his credibility would be zero.

So It Seems

I'll be damned...seems there was only a limited number of people commenting here...and they all got mad at me at once. They were forgetting one thing...this blog was started by me to voice my opinions and rants toward Tuesday Morning. The only person I know who never made a negative comment on this blog was Mo, and she's the one person who has a bonafide insight as to what's going on with the Workmens Comp scam being run by Tuesday Morning and many other corporate entities. I do apologize to those offended by my words, although my next words are "Now, get a life!". I did spout off a ton of 'personal opinion' crap, as is my privilege as author of this blog. I will say to those individuals who felt compelled by 'corporate loyalty' to personally attack me and my 'family'... "I won't be seeing you again...your going to hell?". Stick that up your sanctimonious ass!!!

Still Cutting Payroll?

Tuesday Morning Q2 Results Edge Higher (AP via Yahoo! Finance)
Tuesday Morning Corp., a closeout retailer of home accessories and gift items, said Thursday that second-quarter earnings rose 5.2 percent on slightly higher sales.
Let's see the spin on this one...go, ahead, explain why payroll dollars are so low yet they keep flaunting their earnings. And please change that godawful synopsis of Tuesday Morning...you all don't close any more (except briefly for inventory), yet still use that fact everywhere you can. You are not telling the truth and your upper echelon employees are unethical 'jerks'. Admit that the only thing that matters is the investors...your not there for your employees whatsoever. By the way, did you find your employees in New Orleans and force them to open right away? I'd be surprised that you didn't do that (past history says you did!!!).
Note to everyone else...get a good attorney...don't expect things to go your way when dealing with the very company you work for...you'll be glad you did!!!

Comment Here To Prove How Bad TM Is

Just so we understand who we're dealing with here, Tuesday Morning would rather expend energy harassing someone who's against their bad policies than to actually fix those bad policies. There is no effort to correct Human Resources mistakes, or freight policies that injure their employees then deny it's their fault (damn, there goes that Bush analogy again). There is a sickness in this country that runs deep and is spread throughout the business world. For some reason all these corporate honchos feel they have to abuse their help and treat them all like third world citizens. Well, from what I'm reading and seeing in the recently re-awakened news media there is a backlash coming that will stop all these arrogant a**es in their tracks and I for one will be happy as hell to see them fall. So, even though I said that's it I would be a fool to walk away this close to 'getting even'. So, my first new targets are the very Zone managers that are on the front lines of harassment. I'll bet one of these same smirks are the 'jerks' that have been saying such nice things about me. The official policy of this blog is to now ignore all negative entries in comments and if they are off topic, they don't survive, and I will hold me to that same rule. We must expose Tuesday Morning for what it really is...a haven for losers from other companies (they were terminated from K-Bee Toys, K-Mart, and other 'fine' retail establishments). Tuesday Morning's policy is to harass people into submission....doesn't work here anymore!!!

No More Sheeples!!!

Hey, jerks, I chose something from a drop down box to egg you on, and it works. You are just so-o-o-o-o intelligent berating someone for speaking the truth about the state of this country. The other stuff is just BS to get you to make a fool of yourselves, but maybe you don't need my help. And, lawyer person, get over my occassional diatribes of the political persuasion...this blog is mine...I think we still have freedom of speech. Yeah, Bush 'won' twice, but he's still just a fool. So with that said, why don't you all mosey over to Mo's place, settle in and let this humble beginnings at communication between Tuesday Morning employees rest in peace. It will rest here for posterity and to remind all....GET INVOLVED IN POLITICS...make a difference in this country and stop standing around telling each other "But what difference can I make?". No More Sheeples!!!

I'll Be On The Side

To those of you angry because I speak my mind...get a life, don't troll blogs looking for someone to berate. I started this blog as a sort of revenge for things said about all the female managers employed in New Jersey. They have all gone so I'm through with this. Now you can start harrassing anew at http://tuesdayhorrorstories.blogspot.com/ . Comments are now closed!!!

God bless America

Here, then, is the new American motto, as reimagined by BushCo: Give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses, and we'll let them die in a filthy and decrepit storm-ravaged American football stadium while our president languishes on vacation and ponders his oil futures and fondly remembers his good ol' days of getting drunk at Mardi Gras before going AWOL from the military. God bless America.
Keep supporting Bush, he's our hero!!!

A National Disgrace

I am sure that the overall decision to open those stores in the hurricane area was made at the corporate level by the COO. All these swaggering smirks will be former heads of companies soon because after Bush and company get through with the economy, company after company will be closing their doors due to lack of customers (no one will be able to afford gasoline soon, even your elite customers). I won't sit here sounding like some conspiracy theorist so let's just wait and see...say three months tops. There is not one person in America thats not saying "This is a National Disgrace". The backlash from this incompetence will be history in the making. I am hearing calls for impeachment, laws to protect people from 'business predators', and just plain anger at the way the country is turning out. So, all you elite knowitalls, your turn is coming. The people of America will not forget what happened here...that the very people they entrusted to guarantee their safety and well being turned their backs on poor and infirm citizens. And where is the same kind of support the world showed for those tsunami victims last year? I have received some personal correspondence from present employees of TM in the New Orleans area and thought I would share with the world the callousness of these corporate sharks. They are so concerned about their employees they even conference called from corporate with concerns about damage to the stores, not for the employees that work in them. They sent a relief supply truck from Dallas to the New Orleans employees but the only problem there is no one can find those employees. Guess CNN doesn't come in very clear in Dallas. This was a MAJOR DISASTER Tuesday Morning. It's been all over the news and there's approximately ten feet of water covering most of New Orleans. You guys are worse than the federal government...too little, too late. Mr. Dave (mouthpiece of TM in the disaster Zone) is ordering everyone back to work. Do you really think people want to get right back to shopping at Tuesday Morning when they have no basic services like water, electricity, etc? Oh, I forgot, Tuesday Morning is the all knowing, all seeing best retail company on the planet (extreme sarcasm there) and can do no wrong. Note to Tuesday Morning....the citizens in the hurricane affected areas are in shock...they've been through a very traumatic experience and they need time to get their stuff together, such as their family's, etc. You really are heartless bastards and deserve everything that's coming in the future.
I encourage every single Tuesday Morning employee that was or is taken advantage of during this 'disaster' to write a letter to TM corporate, then send a duplicate to your local media. Let's all show the real face of Tuesday Morning, and it 'ain't' pretty!!!
To those directly affected by this tragedy our hearts go out to you. This was the event of the century and will be in memory for a long time to come. If you are in the affected areas please let us know how you all are doing. Use this forum to get in touch with people. Those of us in the northeast have access to phones, etc and can relay for you. Get the message out!
