Clarification

I must clarify. We would like you to post your comments on this site to show the attorney and the media that there is an inherent problem with all retail, but Tuesday Morning (and Walmart :-) in particular. He will not nor cannot do anything until he knows and is shown the problem. This is all perfectly legal...I am only soliciting anonymous information to show a pattern of behavior. There can't just be five stores where there have been delivery and upper management problems. I know for a fact this is a nationwide company problem and needs to be addressed for the employees sake. I've heard from California, Texas, Louisiana, New York, Michigan and Connecticut. In the New Jersey district alone I know of five managers going through the Workmans Comp gauntlet from hell. Shoulder and back injuries. The company denying it's the companies fault. Has America stooped so low that they take advantage of their employees for profit. You bet they would and it's time for this to stop. No more free rides for corporations due to obscure regulations that favor big business. If you know people in the situations described, have them post a comment here and describe the situation...no names, but circumstance and resolution to date. They are interested in how the truck looks when you open the door, how precariously the boxes are stacked in the stores, any injuries due to truck or stock, injuries caused by the constant physical labor, lack of interest by Workmans Comp and Human Resources, lies told to you by supervisors (promises of certain rewards for jobs well done but not delivered, or that something will be done for you but never is (job related)), lack of help from Regional on up for problems in your store. Please take your time, be accurate and truthful, and let us know how bad this company is!

I WAS AN EMPLOYEE OF TM WHO WAS INJURED WHILE UNLOADING AN 18 WHEELER THAT HAD NO SAFETY DEVICES INSTALLED ON THE LOAD,AND WAS LOADED HAPHAZARDLY AT THE WAREHOUSE.WHILE UNLOADING THE LOAD SHIFTED AND NUMEROUS BOXES FELL ON ME CAUSING MY BACK TO BE INJURED.AFTER SIX MONTHS OF NOT BEING ABLE TO RETURN TO WORK I WAS TERMINATED BY THE SO CALLED HEALTH AND HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE OF TM.APPARENTLY THIS INJURY TO MYSELF DID NOT CHANGE ANY OF THE LOADING PROCEDURES AND IS STILL A GREAT HAZARD TO THE EMPLOYEES THAT WILL HAVE TO UNLOAD THESE TRUCKS.THIS SHOWS THAT TM APPARENTLY DOES NOT REALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES,EXCEPT FOR THE HIGHER ECHELON PERSONNEL WHO DO NOT HAVE TO DO THIS HARD AND DIRTY WORK.

AT THIS MOMENT I AM FIGHTING FOR MY RIGHTS. NEXT MONTH IS GOING TO BE MY SIX MONTH OUT WITH CARPAL TUNNEL INJURY FOR THE SECOND TIME BECAUSE THEY CLAIM THE FIRST TIME I HAD NOTHING. REASON:
THE CONSTANT MANIPULATION ON MY MANAGER'S PART TO SAVE MONEY ON PAYROLL AND ONLY USING THE GUYS (2)FOR A FEW HOURS THEN SEND ONE HOME AND (1) AT THE CASH REGISTER WHILE ME THE ASSISTANT MANAGER A WOMAN WAS PUT IN "CHARGE OF THE WAREHOUSE " SHE CALLED- TO OPEN THE 600 PLUS BOXES IN 2.5 DAYS,PUT TOGETHER LAMPS, FURNITURE, SORT GREEN CARD,FLATEN BOXES,TAKE OUT TRASH,CLEAN TOILETS,EMPTY BASKETS BEFORE GOING HOME AND THEN RECOVERY AND IF I WAS CLOSING THAT NIGHT GOING HOME WITHOUT MY LUNCH OR BREAK.

Re;promises of certain rewards for jobs well done but not delivered, or that something will be done for you but never is.

Last year I was working sometimes 15 days without a break because we wanted to get things done at the store. I am an assitant manager by the way. The zone manager knew about this and he never complemented us on our hard job. We worked on our days off also.We were short handed like always.
I remember at that time they send an email" please keep track of your hours" sometimes we worked 70 hours or more in one week me and my manager. After our evaluation last year to get our great raise I was in shock of the incorrect comments on mine. That day I understood that we had no value. Beware all of you at this time of the year you may not make it to the next month.
