I'm Already In A New Profession.

Why, I'm glad to see the ONE Store Manager that likes Tuesday Morning has posted here. I'm so happy for you. You must be as miserable and arrogant as the rest of the I Like Tuesday Morning crowd. As for going away and doing something else, not until Tuesday Morning Corp. is history. And, yes, all of retail is like that, but do you know why? Because people who are in a position of power think they are better than the customers they serve and the employees under them. Thanks to big companies like WalMart there probably is no hope of having a job in this country where the bosses treat you fairly. As you've said, it's all about the bottom line, but the beef here is that you DON"T ABUSE PEOPLE to get there. If you think it's good to have a system that causes injuries, then deny that it's happening, you are leaving yourself open to attack from those who oppose your policies. Go back and read the entry about Southwest Airlines and try and find the negative. There is none because from the top on down all are respected. Until Tuesday Morning makes it better for the store level employee, I'll be here!!! By the way, I'm in construction and will never go back to retail. Neither will Nancy.

SHE STILLS GETS A PAYCHECK BY MAKING SURE SOMEONE ELSE IS DOING HER WORK AND EVERYBODY ELSE TO SAVE MONEY ON PAYROLL LIKE MY MANAGER DID TO ME.HER TIME WILL COME ONE DAY.LATELY I HEARD SOME MANAGERS WERE FIRED USING REASONS THAT THEY HAD NO CONTROL OVER.I AM AN ASSISTANT MANAGER BY WAY AND NOT GETTING A PENNY FOR MY INJURY.KEEP UP THE BATTLE!I WILL TOO.
