I think most people care about things that are going on in society, but they are so used to being told "there is nothing YOU can do about it" that they quit trying. There is a site called ipetitions.com where anyone can start an online petition and when you get the desired amount of response, you can send it to Tuesday Morning, or any other place you choose. I would encourage anyone, to try something like this. One persons point of view may go un-noticed, but thousands will not fall on deaf ears (or blind eyes in this case).
