Tuesday Morning! Too
I return your attention to the real reason for this blog. It is to bring to the world's eyes the real Tuesday Morning story. It is not a day of the week, it represents the mistreatment of employees both physically and in some cases mentally. It represents the repeatedly denied Workmans Comp. cases, a lot of them due to "pre-existing conditions". It represents the late and/or conflicting directives given to the stores by corporate. It represents the harassing behavior by Zone Managers, Regional Managers, and a corporate officer...only one comes to mind. If you treat people under you as if you have ownership instead of their interests at heart, you will receive a backlash from that. It's so nice to see all the back slapping going on in the media, and it most assuredly impresses the investors, but it does absolutely nothing to change the image projected TO THE PUBLIC. Your customers are watching you. One thing about America, neighbors talk to neighbors. One person works at Tuesday Morning, tells his neighbor all about the company. Next thing you know there's a whole neighborhood block never shopping at Tuesday Morning ever again. Won't take long to multiply this latest. Now, my name is Ed Nolan. I am doing this because there is an injustice going on that needs a course correction. My e-mail is enolan4208@excite.com.com , leave off the last dot com. You can contact me with your story in confidence. It will be shown to no one without your written consent. I need it to help along some things behind the scenes. If you all truly want to try and change things for the better the Workmans Comp. abuse must be stopped first. This is what your stories are for, how it was or wasn't resolved, how you came to have the condition you are trying to get Workmans Comp. to pay for, was it from an unsafe condition, repetitious lugging around of heavy merchandise...you get the picture.
I am also looking for one photo to use as the banner picture. Humor would suit best because we all need a chuckle after working for Tuesday Morning. I also have the ability to post pictures with my posts.
By the way, would you think that the two people who might have controlling interest...no, not K. Mason and M. Marchetti, but the two members of Madison-Dearborn who sit on the Board Of Directors of Tuesday Morning would read between the lines and act on that. There is one person in Dallas that needs replacing. The warehouse is doing it's job fine now and that person does not have the skills nor temperament to fix the rest of the company. A person with good HUMAN RESOURCES skills comes to mind!!!
