Sales Are Down But Profits Are Up? A Labor Dollar BS Story

07/21/05 Tuesday Morning Corporation Announces 5.2% Increase in Net Income for the Second Quarter This is straight from Tuesday Morning.com's Investor Relations page....if I hear one more time that sales are down I'm gonna scream. These people are bullshitting everyone they can just so they can swagger around the halls of Tuesday Morning corporate and feel good about themselves. They are not honest people when it comes to their business sense, and I can guarantee that they think they are better than everyone else on the planet because they're making big bucks. You, Tuesday Morning have made one gross mistake. In the age of the INTERNET information is now two way, and not only can you issue your little feel good press releases, but the very people that you take advantage of can fight back. They are permeating the internet with negative postings about your company and you can't find them because the site has to be listed with a high search engine ranking, which no new site attains. So, continue your quest to throw your weight around and prove...prove what...there's no reason on this planet to run a company so negatively. And I'm really serious about you all reading the article in the latest issue of Forbes Magazine, dated September 5th, 2005. Page 156..."Quelling Your Inner Jerk"By Robert Lenzner. There is a very good message that applies here to all CEO's, COO's and anyone else who thinks their a step below God. Take a little lesson from the news...people are not accepting 'business as usual' any longer.

Private Investigator?

To Anonymous: A Private Investigator would have to go through a Court of Law in order to obtain a subpoena to get any information from blogger.com, unlike the FBI who have judges that order subpoenas when shown evidence of wrongdoing. The comment was way off base and sure gonna miss ya. Some things are evident here...Tuesday Morning is working on forming a Benefits Department. They are hiring a person to co-ordinate that department, so maybe things are improving. Another Anonymous nailed it..."maybe there are bad Zone and Regionals", but if a corporation truly cared about it's image it would address those situations post-haste. And that's what the bottom line is, eh? Image.

Again With The Union

The Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union, UFCW for one. RWDSU | 30 East 29th Street | New York, NY 10016, USA Phone 212-684-5300 | Fax 212-779-2809. It doesn't really matter what union you contact as long as they are there for retail workers. Use Google, grasshopper. You just need one store in America to ask the union in, then it's snowball time. I cannot organize a union for you...I am not with the company and don't need union representation...you all do.
Look, Tuesday Morning does not have some 'super intelligence agency' that tracks decedent workers and causes harm to people. Honest, they won't kidnap your sister and hold her until you break. They are a corporation that has misguided ideas on how to do business, and a little bit of arrogance because it's their business. They tried to shut this down by saying illegal statements about my girlfriend (there, I said it...happy?). And I do mean illegal. They accused her publicly of committing a crime against a minor and now that has to play out in the legal system. This is typical of Tuesday Morning...someone holds a finger in the dike but more leaks spring up, so more fingers in the dike. Before you know it, out of control with water gushing in. We're at the 'water gushing in phase' and when the spray clears there will be names in the media to show that this type of revenge behavior is not accepted in America.
For every one of you going through the Workmans Comp or Disability game, please consult with an attorney. They can advise you and protect you by telling you what to do and say and what the other side can do or say. And if you feel that someone is doing something unethical to you chances are it's illegal to do that...why else would they be 'sneaking' up on you? We have to return ethics and fairness to the business world now. And believe me, just because they have prosecuted some white collar crime doesn't mean the 'acts are cleaned up...all that publicity did was make corporations more guarded on what the public sees.

Now Officially Time For The Union.

Well, it seems every time I say something that a special someone doesn't like I or my family are personally attacked. Previously it was after I stated the circumstances surrounding my reason for involvement in this blog...something said by Mr. Potty Mouth. This time they went a little too far and crossed the line into criminality. And the fact that it was done anonymously and on the internet makes no difference in a court of law. This latest attack came immediately following my posting of Request on August 14th, 2005. Instead of Tuesday Morning asking me to stop meddling in their affairs they decided to try and meddle in mine...oops...wrong idea. I said from day one I am relentless and now even more so. It will be a pleasure seeing the 'Morons' face to face.

Now let's see...you posted on a web page and althought it said Anonymous it recorded in the background Type of Browser, unique IP address for said browser, what time of day, what TIME ZONE it came from...do you think the FBI can't find you...now who's stupid. You made an accusation that is of criminal intent and you think you can hide behind anonymity...hahahahaha!

I do not and will not take abuse from small minded people who can only feel good about themselves by making fun of or hurting others. You can be assured that God will sort this all out in the end. Good luck to you all and visit Mo's site to continue this quest. I for one will sleep better at night without Tuesday Morning. On with my life and hope you two losers rot in hell. Hey, Smirks!!

Now we see what kind of people run Tuesday Morning...rejects from other companies. Toss outs from K-Mart, HomeGoods, K-B Toys....all the successful rejects that were hired by Tuesday Morning because they were desperate for a position where they could bully and harass people and feel 'good' about themselves. None of you are any good at running a company, only to bully people and sit around with self-effacing smirks on your faces. Go, little children, bully on some other playground.

A Message To Morons

This is to the two who commented and made an accusation against nancy...do you think that you are really Anonymous on the internet? If that were the case the FBI or whatever law enforcement agency would never catch virus authors, but they do...because everyone leaves there trail on the internet, and I'll bet you don't have a clue as to how the internet even works. The statement you made in the comments was out and out libel, meaning your going to get sued for making a false accusation to the entire world. If I see one more statement that makes false accusations I will turn this over to the FBI...and you can bank on that. And another thing...you don't even know who your talking about, and if you do your an officer of Tuesday Morning and are going to jail. You overstepped your bounds and will pay deeply for this mistake.

Any information received will not cause you loss of employment. Please include name and email address and/or phone . We cannot stress the importance regarding the information you are sending IT MUST BE EXTREMELY ACCURATE. We are in the process of investigating any and all complaints. There are many with reference to unfair labor practices. We want to hear it all! Special interest in abuse or misuse of authority. Eureka!!!

Here is the day I've been waiting for. There is no one in my family or circle of friends that work for Tuesday Morning any longer. I have been encouraging them all to find other employ because no one on this planet is going to change the 'big ego's ' at corporate headquarters. They are there for the investors only and this should be a warning sign to everyone. If a company depends on investor return for their success it IS NOT AN EMPLOYEE FRIENDLY COMPANY.
As far as Workmans Comp is concerned, the system is broken and no one is interested in fixing it because it is broken towards individuals but in favor of corporations and insurance carriers.
My daughter announced after she came home for the last time that there is absolutely no difference with what me and Nancy experienced and what you are all going through to this day. The only difference is that the corporation is covering their ass better with daily directives, yet they have not changed their treatment of the lower rung employees. And they are trying to install 6.50 an hour employees nationwide. It won't work, morons, because the cost of living differs by region around the country. Not one person in the northeast can afford to work at low wages because our rents and mortgage payments, not to mention the cost of food and even electric rates are some of the highest in the land. So, Marchetti, you keep cutting those payrolls and you keep experiencing lack of labor in all of your selling markets, keep denying people help with the injuries caused by your lack of compassion and caring for your fellow man (or woman in this case) and above all else make sure you have at least a half million dollars worth of stock for sale every six months so that you don't suffer like you make your present and past employees suffer.
The key to success for Tuesday Morning lies in a person who knows how to treat humans fairly, not someone who cherishes derogatory statements toward the very people who manage the stores that sell your "crap". You don't single out an individual, make a derogatory statement toward them ("She isn't worth a 'crap' (not the actual word used) so get rid of her") and expect there to be no backlash from this. So, M. Marchetti, did you puff out your chest while throwing your weight around in Dallas? My family is done with Tuesday Morning, none of them nor my friends, nor anyone else in my area now shop at Tuesday Morning. We prefer Target, HomeGoods, or any so called reputable retail outlet, but you can bet we check out the corporation behind the outlet now. Thank you so much for the education into how unethical and greedy most companies are nowadays. And, by the way, Kathleen Mason DID NOT MAKE THE FORBES LIST of the top one hundred most powerful women in the world. She's just a poster child for investor owned companies...someone who takes all she can get because she feels entitled to it (Filenes Basement?). Of course she is well known in retail circles...she runs businesses just the way she is ordered to do by her investor overlords. She is on the board but not chairman...that distinction goes to someone from MADISON-DEARBORN. This leaves the question...Who's bright idea is it to continually run the help in the stores ragged until they all quit in frustration? What a wonderful legacy you are leaving in your wake! You people at TM corporate are members of the Chaos Club and until there are new people with a clue running the show this will all continue unabated.
